Recruit Buddy

Available. Visit Recruit Buddy.

Recruit Buddy is the hiring platform that gives every applicant a decision, with the reasons. Requisitions, a careers site, screening, interviews, scorecards and offers are in one place. The AI reads every application, and a person owns every no.

How it works

  1. Screen. Every application is read against the job's scorecard within moments of arriving: a recommendation, a fit score, and the evidence for each criterion quoted from the CV.
  2. Decide. The Decision Inbox puts every recommendation, to advance, hold or decline, in one queue. Accept it, override it with a reason, or accept the confident ones in bulk. Each candidate hears back.
  3. Interview. Candidates pick their own slot from your interviewers' real availability. Interviewers rate against the same scorecard the screening used, so the two measure the same thing.
  4. Offer. Build the offer inside the band, route it for approval, and send it for a typed signature.

A person owns every no

You choose how far the AI may act on its own:

  • Off. People read every application. The AI does nothing.
  • Recommend. The default. Every recommendation waits in the Decision Inbox for a person.
  • Autopilot. Confident advances happen on their own and are logged. Declines still wait for a person.

In autopilot the AI advances strong applicants and invites them to schedule, above a confidence you set. A recommended decline always waits for one human click. A decline email is held for a day by default, so a mis-click can be undone before anyone is told.

Responsible AI

  • Blind screening, on by default. Names, contact details, links, photos, ages, graduation years, gendered pronouns and honorifics are removed before the AI reads a CV.
  • An audit trail for every recommendation. What was recommended and why, a fingerprint of exactly what it read, and what a person then did.
  • Adverse-impact monitoring. Selection rates per stage for each voluntary self-identification group, checked against the four-fifths rule. It is aggregate only, and no group under five people is ever shown. The AI never reads a candidate's voluntary self-identification.
  • Human review on request. Candidates are told the AI assists review and can opt out. Their applications are never sent to a model, and your team reads them.

With no AI model configured, a rules engine scores applications against the same scorecard and produces the same kind of recommendation, clearly labelled.

What it covers

Requisitions and approvals. Headcount requests with a justification and a pay band, routed through an ordered approval chain before a job can open.

A careers site. Your jobs, your brand colour, a plain-language AI notice, job alerts, and a status link every applicant can check.

Interviews and scorecards. Interview plans per job, kits per stage, and candidates booking their own slot from your interviewers' working hours. Weighted must-haves, nice-to-haves and values are rated the same way at screening and at every interview.

Offers. Offer letters from templates, approvals above a salary threshold, and acceptance with a typed signature on a secure link.

Referrals, agencies and talent pools. Employees refer and see where their referral stands. Agencies submit through their own portal, one job at a time. When a new job opens, the AI surfaces past candidates who fit it.

Automations and analytics. Recruiters build rules that move, message, assign and nudge. Funnel conversion, time in stage, time to fill and source quality are computed from every stage move.

Roles. Six roles, scoped to the job. Hiring managers and interviewers see only their own jobs, interviewers never see pay, and viewers see reports, never a candidate.

Accounts and the product family

Recruit Buddy has its own accounts, workspaces and plans. It does not require a Radio Workflow account or any other product in the group.

Billing

Plans are priced by how much you are hiring, not by how many people help: every plan is the whole product, with unlimited team members. A plan sets how many jobs can be open at once and how much AI is included each month. An AI screening is one application read against the job's scorecard, and an AI assist is one draft, wording check, translation, careers answer or interview debrief. There is a Free plan, and paying by the year costs ten months' price.

A first workspace starts with 14 days of the Growth plan, with no card asked for. A trial never turns into a paid plan on its own: when it ends the workspace moves to Free, and everything in it is kept.

Hiring does not stop at a limit. When a month's AI screenings are used, the rules engine keeps screening every application and says that it did, and another job can be opened once one is paused or closed. See the current plans and prices, which are in US dollars.

For developers

A REST API with scoped keys covers jobs, candidates, applications, interviews and offers, and signed webhooks announce every hiring event, so your HR system hears about a hire the moment it happens. The contract is published as OpenAPI, and the reference is inside the product.

The same key connects an AI assistant. An assistant can read the workspace, add candidates and applications, and move an application between stages. No tool declines a candidate, and a move into an offer or hired stage is refused: those stay with a person. See the MCP connection and setup, or Building on our products.
