Meet Buddy
Meet Buddy is a booking page with the video room built in. People book the time that suits them, and the booking link is the meeting room: one confirmation email, one join link, and no second tool to paste it from.

One link from booking to meeting
- A booking is confirmed. The moment a slot is taken, Meet Buddy creates a secure meeting room with a human-readable code. Nobody has joined yet; the room is simply ready.
- Everything carries the same link. The confirmation email, the calendar attachment and the calendar event all quote that one join link.
- It stays right afterwards. Rescheduling keeps the code, so the invite already in somebody's calendar still opens the right room. Cancelling closes the room, so an old link never lets a stranger in.
Because the room is created with the booking rather than by calling out to a video service, a booking never fails because video is having a bad day.
The booking half
Availability. Named weekly schedules, date-specific overrides, and a rolling or fixed date range. Buffers either side, a minimum notice period, start-time increments, and caps per day, week or month.
Four ways to share a slot. One-on-one; group, with a capacity; collective, where every host must be free; and round robin, distributed by least recently booked, an even split, or priority. Single-use links cover the one-off.
Time zones done properly. Invitees pick their time zone or have it detected, and hosts keep theirs. Slots are worked out day by day, so a fixed 9:00 stays 9:00 across a daylight-saving change.
Questions before they book. Short text, long text, single and multiple choice, phone and checkbox questions, required or optional. Routing forms send each person to the right event type, or out to a web address.
Reschedule and cancel. Both run through signed links that capture a reason, and your notice policies are enforced, not just suggested.
Reminders and follow-ups. Confirmations, reminders at the times you choose, follow-ups after the meeting and cancellation notices, each with a calendar attachment.
On your own site. Booking pages can be embedded inline, as a popup or behind a text link.
The video half
- Nothing to install. Meetings run in the browser. Join from the booking link or with the meeting code.
- A green room to check your camera and microphone before you go in, and a lobby where anyone else knocks to join.
- In the room: screen sharing, several layouts, chat, raised hands and reactions, polls and Q&A, and breakout rooms.
- Host controls to mute one person or everyone, remove or promote a participant, lock the room, and turn sharing or chat off.
- Recording, with a visible indicator and a consent notice.
- Chat outlives the room. In-meeting chat is written to the booking's record, so closing the room is not the end of what was said in it.
Inbox and chat
Meet Buddy also includes a shared inbox with notes and reply by email, and an embeddable chat and support widget for your website.
We use it ourselves
